Alumni Gathering! Loyal and enthusiastic alumni from All Saints, St. Ambrose, St. John 's, St. Peter's, Visitation , and Holy Famil y School gathered on April 14, 2011 for an unprecidented joint grade school reunion. Approximately 150 graduates reconnected, shared stories and history, reminisced, looked at photographs, and celebrated the wonderful cultures that make up the current Holy Family School student population. Attendees enjoyed a delicious lunch and a short program which included a talk with Peng Tiir, the refugee coordinator for Des Moines Public schools. Peng shared stories involving his immigration from the war-torn country of Sudan to the United States. The program was concluded with a fabulous new video highlighting the history and current state of Holy Family School.
