Once again Holy Family School will participate in the Des Moines Arts Festival, Nurturing a Student's Vision. The festival will take place from June 27th thru June 29th. Each elementary school is allowed 4 pieces of artwork to show in the festival. These are the students who have been chosen this year: Jordy Robles, Kindergarten; Kati Haus, 1st grade; Kathleen Pham, 4th grade; Sonia Navarro, 6th grade. You can review their artwork as well as artwork from across the city anytime during the free arts festival. Hours for the festival are: June 27, 4-10 p.m.; June 28, 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. with the ceremony at 10:15 a.m. for exhibitors, June 29, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. The festival is held in the Western Gateway Park in downtown Des Moines, on Grand Ave. and Locust Street between 12th & 16th streets. Registration is now open to all new students. If you have not turned in your packet for next year, we strongly urge you to do so today! Many classes are full and we do not want our current families to lose their spots!
